Charlie Barstow

Charlie Barstow is a a 15-year-old singer songwriter from Steveston BC who writes and sings pop inspired acoustic songs that are upbeat and really get the audience listening. His style is in the vein of Ed Sheehan, Shawn Mendes and Scott Hellman. Charlie’s powerful voice and guitar accompaniment have helped him win numerous talent competitions and he is very popular in Steveston where he regularly performs regularly.
He is the overall winner of the 2018 BC Youth Talent Search. In the summer of 2019, Charlie auditioned for and was accepted into New York University’s SOCAPA campus where he spent 10 days writing and performing in New York. Charlie was a junior competitor in the Stampede Youth Talent Search and he performed all around the city and sang the Canadian National Anthem for a crowd of 2000. He has also performed at the Steveston Salmon Festival, Thompson Community renter’s “Music in the Park” as well as being the feature performer at the 2019 Miss Teen BC and at Various events around the Lower mainland of Vancouver.
