Fausto is a musician of Mexican origin, he studied music at University of Guadalajara and performed for over 30 years in Mexico, USA, and Canada. During his career, Fausto worked with various Mexican bands but in recent years he performs solo; singing, playing an electric guitar, and using an accompaniment of different instruments which he himself plays and records on overlapping tracks. His music reflects his romantic yet peaceful nature and his unique voice leaves a lasting impression in the listeners’ ears.

Over the years Fausto accumulated a very large and varied repertoire of his own interpretations of songs ranging from old classics of Latin music to the contemporary, from traditional romantic love songs to hot salsa and tropical Latin rhythms, as well as, selected world rock hits, which he performs with Latin flare in Spanish or English language.

While in Mexico, Fausto plays daily in several upscale restaurants, which is a popular form of entertainment particularly in coastal regions, where he is sought-after by his audiences of both international and national tourists. His musical professionalism, talent, and personal charisma earned him many fans and cosmopolitan admirers.

Presently, Fausto is spending his summers in Vancouver, and busking on Granville Island would give him an opportunity and a pleasure of sharing his music with Vancouverites and international visitors.
