Jenny Duffy calls her show “Everything’s a ballad” because if you play slowly enough, eventually every song becomes a ballad. Jenny turns all your favorite pop tunes into beautiful ballads accompanied by the piano or lapsteel guitar. Hailing from the West End of Vancouver, she writes songs about her community and tells the stories which form the fabric of Vancouver’s vibrant and eclectic city.
In addition to street busking, Jenny hosts open mic events around the city. She is the creator of the Jukebox Karaoke Musical show series, an original artform where the audience becomes part of the cast of an original jukebox Musical combining audience participation,sing-along and improvisation.Known for her authentic and charismatic performances, she loves creating musical experiences rich in emotion for her fans.
