Ko-Ko (Kohei)

Ko-Ko (Kohei Yoshino) is a singer songwriter based in Vancouver. Having lived and grown up in 4 different countries (Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Canada), he has been exposed to the unique music that each country had to offer and witnessed the power of music in bringing people together. Since he picked up an acoustic guitar at the age of 13, he has played numerous solos sets (as well as with bands) at different venues across the world.
With his acoustic guitar, harmonica and melancholic voice, he plays popular cover songs, traditional folk songs as well as original songs in English and Japanese. His biggest influences include Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, The Smiths, Traci Chapman and Traditional Japanese Folk music. His repertoire and performance are well received among people with all ages including children as he ensures to mix upbeat tunes with ballads in his set list. He has released 3 singled as well as an acoustic cover album and is currently working on his next album.
